I know this has been brought up before but....
Can you guys please go over exactly what I need to replace the spark plug well gaskets..ie;what other gaskets do i need to replace at the same time if any..Do i need to take the Intake manifold off?? I'm thinking yes to get to the back one???I've had my Red 94 3.0 since 96. 145k now.
I ve been going into the spark plug well with a rag and screw driver to absorb the oil for the past three years. i think its time to replace(Doh!!). Thanks in advance for any help given, MattyMac

well while you are under there you should prolly check the valve gap and replace shims that need to be since it sounds like the 120k service hasn't been done. if this is the first time since you had it that the intake is being taken off i would replace the gaskets for the intake and the valve cover gaskets kome in the set for the well gaskets so you might as well replace them. make sure you pick up the video from SHOnut as it is a invaluable resource

Familiarize yourself with the 60K maintenance service, and that will cover everything you'll need to know.

I have the same problem with oil in the plug wells. I am going to change the gaskets too, and the plugs. The guy I bought it from had just put in new plugs but used the platinum ones, not the ford plugs. The car has 150k km and had the 60k done not to long ago, but there is oil in the wells. Can you get a gasket kit for the plug wells and the intake or are they seprate?

You can buy the plug well seals from Ford, but the FelPro set is far cheaper and you get everything.
