I have an oil problem. My sho is eating oil 1 quart every 500 miles!!! It does
not leak on the ground....not a drop. After driving I can see moisture around trans and the sensor on back top of oil pan, but does not stain ground at all....not a drop!!! Is this a pressure leak.....help me!

If you're not leaking oil, then you're either burning it...or someone is stealing oil from your car.

Burning it means oil is leaking into the cylinder heads from either the valves (e.g., leaky valve guides) or due to cracked piston ring or cylinder wall scratches.

Did the increased oil consumption start all of a sudden or did it evolve slowly?

I got the car with 106k on it it has 115k and is ready for 120k or 2nd 60k. It did consume oil abot 1qt every 1k but is double now! It does seem to blow smoke while shifts are happening I/m told and it's very dark smoke? What is the oil on trans and why does it only leak while driving. I smell fresh oil burning when driving hard....The car does not lack power or oil pressure(rod bearings done at 61k.

You could have a combination problem where you're both leaking oil and burning oil.

If you see smoke out of the exhaust, especially when flooring it, that's a clear sign of oil burning.

Now you're saying that your trans case is oiled and that you smell oil burning when driving hard.

I don't think you'd be able to smell the oil burning coming out through the exhaust, so what you're smelling is most likely oil dripping onto the Y-pipe. That would indicate that you DO have a leak, but that the leak is only occuring when the car is running and the oil is under PRESSURE and the oil is HOT.

PRESSURE at high RPM and HOT in combination make it more likely that the oil will leak through e.g., the oil pan gasket, the oil pressure sensor or the low oil sensor, or the front or rear main seals.

Sounds like the seal near the clutch is leaking if the xmission case is oiled.

And if you're smelling burnt oil, perhaps your oil pan gasket is leaking.

I would clean the bottom of the engine and then let the car run at 2-3k rpm after it gets hot. This will make it easier to identify where the oil is coming out of the motor.
