If you have to ask how to loosen a drain plug you shouldnt drain your own oil much less work on any car till you have some education on how to tighten and loosen bolts.

Be nice, now. Everyone starts somewhere. Better to be hands on than the alternative. Too many get junked based on the expense/worth ratio of $75 an hour, as opposed to $0 for your driveway work, and keeping it on the road.

Ummmm... righty tighty, lefty loosey ? sorry, seemed apporiate.
yeah, just lay on the ground and look at the bolt head on and turn it to the left, sometimes yeah, it can be confusing. an oil drain plug shouldnt be very tight so if youre really putting some muscle into ti odds are your going the wrong way.

Hey I tell you what.. being an electrician that builds new Wal-Marts... I can tell you that the new ones are getting camera's installed in the pits from 2 different angles, to see what people did or didnt do. :) What a pain in the butt those are to install too.. had to drill thru the floor, about a foot of good strong concrete, and being it was in a garage, it all had to be 'explosion proof' rigid pipe the whole 9 yards... hope someone gets to use it some day.
