Hello. So recently i had an issue where my SHO 2011 with 118K miles on it started to have an issue with the oil lamp indicator. So I first added oil cuz i looked like i was a quart low after my last oil change around 3 months ago. Then i decided to just get an oil change to be safe. i did the oil change, and then continued driving the car. i do not know if somehow i checked the dipstick wrong or what, but i looked at the oil level and it looked full. anyways, a few days later it looked like there was no oil on the dipstick anymore after a few days and was so confused cuz there was no leak anywhere underneath the car. so I decided to add more oil until it was full on the dipstick reading. the car was running normal, started completely normally and drove perfectly fine. I was on my way to work when I decided to accelerate since a car was turning into my lane, and when i tried to accelerate, i felt a hiccup in the car and noticed my RPMS drop to 0. Then the oil light indicator came on, and i could no longer accelerate. i was able to safely pull over and park. i tried to restart the car again, and everything was reset in the car. my bluetooth devices were no longer added on for example. But, after i pulled over the car would not start. it would crank and crank but not start. there was still a full amount of oil in the car too when i checked. The next day i went back to where i left it, and the car did start but i noticed a large amount of white exhaust smoke come out from the back and the car seemed like it had a slight ticking noise when i tried to drive it to see if it would drive. I decided to leave it where it was so i wouldn't further any other problems. I am aware i need an 02 sensor replaced, but the car seemed like it was driving fine there was no performance issues until this oil light came on. there was no coolant in the oil either just an FYI. Anyone have any idead what it could be? Oil Sending Unit? Oil Pump Maybe? Or Oil Pressure Sensor? Im at a loss, about to have it towed to a mechanic tomorrow but want to know if the SHO community has any ideas! PS: there is no overheating, and the only codes on the OBD2 is for 02 sensor Thank you whoever reads this!!! Please Help!!

White smoke is usually coolant/water. How does the coolant look? How does the oil on the dipstick look?

Oil on dipstick has no sign of coolant mixing Im pretty sure I checked the coolant for signs of oil *********** but I’m going to check again now

This is just me speculating.
Where did the oil go? Not in the cooling system and not on the floor, check the intercooler. Maybe, the oil went there and then was sucked in when you accelerated causing the issue.
You could remove some plugs and check if they are covered in oil.

Maybe I’m not sure I’m bringing to mechanic soon for a diagnosis, but today I started it back up and it started fine, oil level is still the same from 3 days ago and it drove about a half mile before I parked up. Just wanted to move the car back to my house if it drive with no issues and it did. There was no more smoke clouds coming from the back I think the increased smoke was cuz before I started it 2 days ago, the day before we kept trying to start it and it wouldn’t pull over so it was probably just built up from not being able to start the past few days. No oil in coolant reservoir and no coolant in engine from dipstick either. Hoping this could be some sort of sensor idk we’ll see what mechanic says. Thanks for everyone’s help though!

Check engine light? Any freeze frame data?
No check engine light only for my o2 sensor. Yesterday I started it up with no problem though. There was no more increased white smoke just a regular amount, oil was normal level, no overheating, no coolant issues etc. I drove it down a few blocks back to the house and everything seemed good. Still gonna bring it to mechanic tho but it’s starting up now. Most random stuff bro

Update: Thank you for all the insight, found out it is my rear turbo that is having issues making noises and burning oil. When i bought the car the dealer said he replaced 'the turbos' but failed to tell me it was only the front turbo and left the rear untouched, knowing that eventually it would fail. but the rear turbo failing, this is causing incorrect mixtures being sent to other sensors making them illuminate as well as the explanation of where the oil has been going. that is also where the smoke is coming from, oil from turbo going into exhaust system and burning at a consistent rate. any tips on rear turbo replacements? let me know! thanks!
