I have had an oil leak for some time now and found out it was mainly coming from the oil filter. Changed the sending unit, and it is still leaking probably around 15 to 20 drops + a night. So now i have turned to replacing the the whole piece (the "thing" that the oil filter screws onto and what the sending unit is connected to). I have heard it be called the "oil bun" but am not for sure. Anyone know what it is exactly called, and any suggestions on replacing it with a new one?

THanks!

It is called: Oil cooler; You dont have to replace the whole thing but the rubber gasket that goes in there. (you might have to remove the oil cooler though) but a gasket is cheaper than the whole thing.

Try a search here, I'm sure it's been covered before. I have an oil leak I need to find but now with snow on the ground that will have to wait. Good luck on your repair.
