Not opening for debate but this video is pretty relevant to the engine effects Amzoil has on the engine from a trusted source during a tear down.

Ha! So true.....Yeah, you don’t want to open that extremely contentious can of debate worms.

What's your preference? Schaeffer's?I have nothing against Amsoil. I think it is okay, and extremely over priced.
I also 100% agree with Jordan, frequent fluid changes are king.
Actually after doing a bunch of research and watching Lake Speed Jr's break down of different oils, I run Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in most of my vehicles that I change the oil in. The two cars that are under warranties still use what the factory dealership uses when they go in for service. If my warranty company with my E63s wasn't so crazy with dealer services ect, I would run Pennzoil UP in that car as well. What's your preference? Schaeffer's?
Interesting, I've seen a few videos from him but not much in comparison. I'll have to watch some more!Actually after doing a bunch of research and watching Lake Speed Jr's break down of different oils, I run Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in most of my vehicles that I change the oil in.
