Ugh. I may have an eating disorder... Glad we left when we did!

Not too bad a drive today, considering the rain could've been a lot worse.

Although I'll be out of town, I hope next weekend pans out for everyone. Get some pics up!

Nice to have met 'Hoot, and as always a pleasure seeing Chris and Eric~Sarah.

Postponed to July 2nd, right? Excellent, I am in the middle of the 3.2L swap & didn't have the car back together yet. :)

driveline.jpg

Stuff this month:
3.2L, bearings & resealed, new oil sensors, purples
Stage 1 cams
Fidanza Flywheel
Clutchmasters Stage 3 clutch
Magnaflow Y-Pipe
Dynomax Cat-Back
Pass LCA
New Halfshafts

PO's clutch job was "interesting". All of the rear main carrier's 10mm bolts were hand-tight, and the underside of the engine (& subframe, etc etc) and the entire dry side of the trans was coated in oil. This was only the 2nd time I've found something Berryman's is afraid of - oil & clutch dust souffle. The TOB was cotter-pinned to the fork, and the quill sleeve wasn't loctited, slid off in my hand.

There's just one (maybe two) more modifications coming in the next week or so, hopefully will get things squared in time for next weekend with that.

ace did you get the pictures? The originals came out dark but I did a light edit on most of them. My camera is a POS, I should have brought my film camera, maybe next time....

I was actually able to wash the Caddy before it rained again up here. Got her back in the garage just as it started again.

I MAY be able to go next Sunday. I go to church on Sunday mornings but next weekend I may be in a beach cottage in Manomet with family and friends. If I am there, I may be able to make it up. Maybe.

Yep, if all goes well, I'll be bringing her, passenger door rust & all. :-D

Finished up, but have a couple of possible weird issues... only took 7/8 of a gallon of coolant, and for an engine swap that's WAY off. Hoping there isn't a mystery blockage in the block. Also replaced the solenoid with a new purty one I had on the shelf, car began trying to start itself after putting the packs on it! Checked the wiring, no issues I can see, replaced the new solenoid with the old crappy lookin' one & everything seems better now on that one. The new one's rattling, so I'm pretty sure it's just *****'d from Ford - yay, made in Mexico! Will look some more tomorrow morning at the coolant issue & make sure she's cycling ok, and take her out for a rip. That'll make room for the next one due in.

When I went to start her up, I'd forgotten I'd put in the Stage 3 clutch, and for a second I thought something was frozen in the cable. Welcome back, Schwarzenegger Leg! :snicker:

 hi folks. Sorry I missed you guys in Walpole, Murphy's Law was in affect. It's a long story so I won't bore you ,but hopefully next week will work out. For you guys that did SHOw up:hail: and thats not a slam on anyone that didn't due to the weather or other issues, I didn't realize the full effect that "chicken fried steak" had on some people but it must be true.:)

It's twue, it's twue (Blazing Saddles, or was it Young Frankenstein?).

But it's more the trifecta than the CFS: (#1) Chicken-fried steak, (#2) Buttermilk biscuits, (#3) Sausage gravy smothering the whole plate... Mmmm...

Man, I'm hungry

Yep, I've never seen air like this one though. Kept burping it today, finally got things normal (sorry, no pun intended). I put about 20 miles on today, will get in some more this week, change the break-in oil around 100 miles.

Finally installed the front Infinity speaks tonight & replaced the antenna mast too. Turns out the old one wasn't busted but just had a leg frozen to the next one down. What a bummer trying to find a place to cradle the speakers' crossover in the door panel.

Meh, like a SHO. It's anti-climactic after the old 91 I guess. Low-mid seems pretty decent, but I'm still letting the clutch settle in remember - no true **** runs for awhile. I picked a good week work-wise to do the swap, but the weather's been horrible bringing the convertible out. I just was tired of seeing the engine sitting in the corner, and an opportunity arose needing a good-running 3.0L, so things fell in place.
