Hello. I have a question for the season sho mechanic. If you've seen my old post you will see that after changing ccrm my sho still would not start right but turnover. I ended up replacing the ecm next and the sho has been running perfect. Now I will get sometimes the FP and fan come on with key in on position. Then some days just the FP and no fan like it suppose to. So does anybody know if either the ccrm or ecm can operate intermittently like that? Plumber

iirc, the fan running with key in the on position is due to a bad ground. I don't recall for sure, but I think its a bad ground at the pcm.

Thank you Rubydist I respect you sharing your knowledge. I've read many of your posts. I will try to check that out this weekend. I have a wiring diagram and I think I have found and cleaned all grounds. If you know of which one and what location let me know. Thank you Plumber

The challenge also includes the fact that these wiring harnesses are known to develop opens and shorts inside the harness. I have had multiple occasions where I just ended up running a new wire rather than tearing the entire bundle open to find the strange open that suddenly appeared. So, its quite possibly more than just having the ground locations cleaned.

Thanks again for your thoughts. I agree because of the intermittent problem its likely to be some wiring issue. I hope I can figure out which one. Plumber
