are there any advantage to having oem wires they are like $300 from ford and $70 from napa also has anyone ever put splitfire plugs in there sho people tell me they can ruin engines?

GOTO O'Reilly's. They can get MotorCraft. Get OEM plugs also. You only want to do it once every 60K!!!

Get the AC Delco plug wires. They fit just like OEM and cost $35.

DO NOT use Splitfire plugs. They will foul in a very short time. I recommend the motorcraft plugs (AGSP32PP or AGSP32FM).

That's a pretty good deal if you prefer OEM wires (which I do).

Heck, Ford gets $80 for a set of wires for a 4.0L OHV and there certainly isn't anything "exotic" about that engine.

You can get the Taylor wires at summitracing for $76.99 . Red part number is TAY-74268. I don't remember what the blue ones are, but I'm sure someone else will chime in, or try the search function

Thanks for all the help guys found oem plugs and wires set for $140 including shipping at fordpartsnetwork.com just for the **** of it I called ford for a total price plugs and wires $402.00 thats crazy
