Anyone have any idea what the tall front spring is here? It's pictured next to an uncut Eibach. I just put new struts on my 95-MTX and it had factory rear's but these were on the front. I've personally never come across any SHO springs that look like this. Any idea's if not there going to the scrap yard on my weekly run with all my other SHO & Tractor Junk!

That was going to be my guess.

Any visable number's on it Peter?

No, that's what initially sparked my interest. It would make sense it's for a station wagon for increased load capacity. The car drove like a truck and had about 4-5 inches of front wheel gap! :laugh_ti:

Yeah, I cut 1.5 coils off the Moog CCs for my wife's 95 ATX, and it still sits pretty high up front. Should have done 1.75.

There's no tag on it? A tag with three letters would identify the spring.

It's probably just a soft spring compared to the Eibach. It has to be taller when unloaded with a lower spring rate to get the same ride height when loaded.
