I have a 2015 sho non pp, and I’m curious if I should go h and r lowering springs with the pp struts, or if I should just get coil overs. I’ve heard mixed things coming from the BC or Megan coilovers, but in the end I’d only be spending a couple hundred dollars extra for the coilovers. A couple more things, I’ve been looking online for the pp struts, but have had issues distinguishing if they are the pp struts or the non pp struts. Is there any way to tell? Last thing, is there a difference in the blue or black h and r springs other then the color itself, I’ve seen some videos on other cars where the h and r springs will have different ride quality based on color, ie. red is stiffer than black. Thanks!!

From what I have seen the ride is less harsh with PP and lowering springs than coilovers and coilovers lower the car further than the lowering springs even at the highest settings. I had the same debate but just went with PP struts and lowering springs when I did mine back in september/october. My original PP parts actually rode worse than the replacements because of their age (MY13).

As for spring color, I believe there is only blue springs for the SHO? Could just be the stock photos some sites used are black.

PP Rears:

I’ll end up going lowering springs like you did. Thank you so much for giving me the part #s!! Once the weather starts turning nice again I hope to get this done sometime in the near future.

Mine was/is PP struts, and heard for non PP its the way to go. It is still a harsh ride, more pogo since the springs need to be stiffer of course without the room.

Personally I never drove a non PP and can't tell you if the ride was more luxurious. That all being said I prefer the grip and hug of the road with little to no roll any longer. Get the whiteline sway before they stop selling it......

I installed H&R springs with PP struts all the way around with the Whiteline sway bar in the back last summer. The only thing I don't like is the pogo stick front end that some mention, but honestly, I am splitting hairs. And it only happens when you go over uneven roads or bumps and not a huge deal. Great results though! The car being lowered looks fantastic and the car handles a million times better. There are occasions when I miss the factory feel, especially with the upgraded trans mount, but who am I kidding lol

I had thought each time I made a change i wouldnt like it and get used to it... I ended up in the end. i will say it again, I prefer sticking to the road, so if it hops quickly instead of losing traction, I am happy. I am not a daily driver of the car, so keep that in mind.
