Sorry about the off topic post, im stumped about this spark issue. Just finished up doing the HG's on this 93 taurus wagon (i dont need to tell you - it has the doomed 3.8L), everything went together quite well. Ive triple checked every electrical connection and wiring harness. Timing is set. The problem; no spark from the coil. Ground is good. Ran the codes and got nothing ignition/spark related. The engine cranks over but doesn not fire. Checked 10A coil fuse, good. I dont know what else to check. Anything simple im overlooking here? Is there another fuse somewhere in this system? Helms manual suggested I "Clear Continuous Memory", but there is no procedure. Anyone know how to do this? It has the ECC-IV computer, distributer ignition NOT like the our SHOs distributerless ignition system. It uses a remote-mounted ICM, which i have no clue where. I would like to get this thing started and out of the garage ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot

If you have a DMM, now would be a good time to dust it off. I would check connection itself at the coil for power, broken wires can often be masked by the insulation. You can also try energizing the coil itself.
