O/D Switches On/Off With Brake

Well I am stumped my Red 94 ATX today just developed a new problem I have never seen before. Every time you depress the brake pedal it either shifts the O/D off or on depending upon its current state. Anyone had this issue, as I am at a loss.

Any help would be much appreciated.

never had that problem. I know when cruising and the converter is locked tapping the brake pedal will make the converter unlock. Like if you had cruise control on and tap the brake to drop cruise the converter will unlock until you get back on the gas.

Well, the obvious conclusion is that your brake wire has shorted against your O/D off wire... if it's not that, then I don't know what the **** it is. Good luck chasing shorts... that sucks.
