not starting???

it's a 1990 SHO I over revved the car a month ago and finally getting a chance to try and fix my car. I was shifting from 4th to 5th but mis-shifted into 3rd. The car drove fine till I got home then ould never start again. I check from fuel last night and it's getting fuel. But getting no spark. The battery has been dead for so long so I'm getting no codes. I charged the battery and tried starting a few times and still no code. I'm thinking the crank position sensor is shot. What do you think? I'm also getting this nasty oil leak while the car is running. Near the belt in the back. Can't seem to find it? Is this common? thanks for any reply's
