Many members keep asking were and what the nostrils look like. Here is a pic of clean nostrils after cleaning them from a 141K I just compleated. This is a pic of the inlet of the intake aft removing the throttle body. Hope it clears things up. BTW they are hard to find when the are plugged with carbon and gunk.

Just did mine this weekend (totaly blocked EGR passages, code 332)thanks in part to another picture previously posted & some helpful folks like yourself. To bad the shotimes article doesn't even mention where they are or what to look for.

It should be noted that the left hole & the right hole (on both the top & the bottom) are connected kind of like a pierced nose septum. I had no idea until the coat hanger popped out the other side. Felt like there was a small hole that tee'd off the "thru" hole in the center of it's length (makes sense). that's why it's good idea to spray cleaner in there as well.

Runs Great. I cleanes it about 18 mounths ago and they were about 75% plugged again. I was doing my 141K and actually took my intake completly apart and used a compressor/syphon spray nozzle with B-12. Got down in there and really cleaned her out. Hind site's 2020 I wish I would have taken a before and after so the guys would see a more familar pic as to what they might see. Then the clean one for what they whant to accomplish.
