Non PP VS PP BRAKE PADS

From what I recall, it's not the differentiation between the packages themselves (PP vs. Non-PP) but more so the differences between the GEN4 offerings, versus the GEN5.

This is the answer. After the 13+ changes seem to bundle almost every PP difference except the extra cooling, lower gear ratio, and alcatraz steering wheel.... unfortunately for the PP Ford didn't do them any favors...they didn't gain any of the nonPP comforts...and kept the price point.
My 2015 had larger rotors(vented) from the factory as well as struts/springs with tags that indicated PP. Im not sure if this was common toward the end of each MY or if Ford didn't care what parts got installed or how it worked. Maybe someone can clarify this.

TL;DR all PP parts will swap to nonPP, and the opposite.

Alcantara steering wheels are good palm scratchers. Only if it had a quick connect option so I could scratch some other spots with it.

I paid 800$ for a heated alcantara steering wheel on ebay. Locally in york pa. Still some on ebay. I wanted to keep the heated option also. Expensive but maybe stock up on them. One day they will be all nasty and rotted on cars.

Yeah but will I need the brackets and calipers as well? Or just the pads and rotors...

Pretty much every vehicle that is not an econo-crap box made in the last 20 or so years has dual piston front calipers.

I think my 89 Ranger had a single piston in front, but the dozen or so Fords I've owned since then have all had had dual pistons front calipers.

There is no such thing as a "vented caliper" BTW. I assume you are thinking of the vented rotor hat?

Lol that should be interesting, but the center of the raptor wheel is much smaller than ours due to the bottom attachments to the wheel being different

I'm sure it can be installed with a custom adapter if the mounting is different. Might not have the electronics or airbag work.
