13+ The PP has cross drilled pistons and vented hats, but the parts are all interchangeable between PP and non PP.

Fronts are two piston. Rears are single piston.
This is across all model years from 2010, to 2019. No matter PP equipped, or not.
Changes that occurred in 2013 were to switch to larger rotors, with vented hats. Silicone boots too.
The PP equipped cars have slightly larger pads with greater contact surface.

they charge extra for the PP so you can idle in the staging lanes. NonPP has to turn the vehicle off so they can outrun the PP. Basically the PP allows you to remote start your vehicle and sleep on it....when you wake up its defrosted and you can drive through congestion. NonPP has to wake up and remote start to defrost.
I think Johnny Law got the same pp engine (top piston ring) so he can idle at a donut shop for 2 hours and then chase ya down.
Actually on the contrary my contribution was to make it very clear to everyone that according to several individuals you can put any Taurus sho brake pads on any taurus sho reguardless of year or pp vs non ppVERY timely question! I've been thinking about this myself. I know I've seen the threads discussing this, and I'm SURE I have them saved somewhere...
And of course once again, Ryan contribution = ZERO.
Not sure I should leave that last comment in there, but sometimes I can never tell.![]()

Soon sir. Soon.I never saw an order come through
What'd ya end up getting?

So if you use PP pads and rotors, should you use the PP calipers as well? And brackets? If you get PP pads get PP rotors with vents. I don't see why PP rotors won't go on all years 2010-2019. But if you put PP pads on non PP rotors it looks like this....see the zinc coating still on the rotor? That's where the PP rotor vents are. I have since put Non PP pads on my non PP rotors so now there's complete rotor to pad contact down to the hats. So dont mismatch stuff.View attachment 14811
