Well, I let the car sit for about 2 months without starting it, and I went out the other day and tried to give it a start, and while it did crank over, it didn't want to start. I started to investigate and here is what I came up with...
94 ATX
-The fuel pump will not kick on. (the fuel pump is fine, I hot wired it and it works)
-I am getting spark (tested it)
-the check engine light is not working. (I think I killed the computer when I hot wired the pump, it was working when I started though.)
- the IRCM is making a loud clicking sound (never heard it before, but I never paid attention before.)
I haven't had the chance to try a different computer or IRCM yet because, well I have no extra computer, and I am not sure if the IRCM I have will work in my car (don't remember if it came from a 90 I parted or the 93 ATX..)
so I think what started out as a bad IRCM (at least thats what I am hoping) ended up being a Computer and the IRCM...
anyone else have some idea for me to check out.
