No start......

Ok, Have been fighting with this for the last couple weeks and I am hoping you all can give me an idea of what to look for..

anyways....

I finally got around to having the timing belt, water pump, and CPS replaced, the vehicle is back together and now the engine will not start. For what ever reason, I have no spark. The vehicle ran just fine before teardown, it was just leaking coolant at pump. Now the water pump is replaced and there is no more leak. Just no spark.

The engine cranks over great, no abnormal noises or anything, It just will not fire.

Any ideas of what I should have checked or is there something that I didn't do ( IE. reprogram something? )

THis is starting to really bug me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try reading the codes, that might point you right at the culprit.

Did you properly gap the new CPS to .03"?

Check all your electrical connections, and especially the ground path connections from the DIS module, through the intake, to the firewall.

CPS is set to .032

There is voltage to the coil.

No idea what to check from here....

Did you check the mounting bolts for the crossover tube to intake?

Did you verify the grounding strap was secured to the rear of the head and to the doby?

Did you verify that the DIS module is correctly attached to the crossover tube?

Wait, that was the last part of what Mr Anonymous said and you ignored it....

Does the tach register while cranking?

Have you done a SEARCH on "No Spark" for many previous ideas that have been posted?
