well it didn't wanna turn over, but it did push start.. gotta check the neutral switch and the starter I guess. I'm assuming the neutral switch is just a Normally Open switch. And the little wire should have 12v when I turn the key right? To eliminate the possibility of the ignition switch?

Baby is due in 2 days, trying to not spend a lot now.. :( grrr if i need a starter, I'll just get it rebuilt, but I'd like to see if I can't eliminate the cylanoid. Any help would be great. Thanks guys..

Nevermind.. loose wire on the starter... lol 120 mph will do that i suppose? Was going to say it was just running fine. Maybe the recent oil change greased up that nut. Wouldn't suprise me.

I feel better.. :)

Well I guess I was wrong... it did it to me after a trip to the gas station. :( The cylanoid dosent' seem to be mounted well, it moves when i snug that loose cable.. ? Is the ground running thru the chassis of the cylanoid itself? Everything else is in place, or appears to be.

Thats the second time I've had to push start it today.

the gen II i had had a similar problem and i ended up getting a new starter and "hardwiring" it in

and unfortunately it does sound like you might need a new starter...
the starter i bought was from autozone and has a lifetime warranty

Yep, it was the starter itself actually. I took it into my buddy who rebuilds them, and after the case was apart, you could tell the lack of brushes was keeping me from starting. 7.50 for the part, and $15 for him. $22.50 ain't bad for a 'reman' starter. :)
