Probably not.

There are quite a few things that can cause a "no spark" condition. The CPS is only one of them.

First off, identify your car by year and engine. There are significant differences in the electrical circuits.

Later models have a fuse marked IGN COIL. Earlier models have a fuse link.

3 sounds about right although 2 should be at the same time. When you turn the key ahead it should click for the fuel pump prime and the ignition power, then it should click off when the fuel pump is primed. And if the IRCM is bad it will crank all day long.

I merged your other two threads into this one to keep all your discussions in one place. Please continue to use the idea of keeping all related questions in a single thread.

The IRCM is not involved in cranking the engine. As pointed out, the starter motor will crank all day with a bad (or missing) IRCM.

Please step back and better describe the exact fault that you are having. It also helps to divide your thoughts into coherent sentences and paragraphs complete with standard grammar and puncuation usage. It helps to more clearly communicate your thoughts to anyone who attempts to read them.

My brother had the same thing happen to his 93. Replaced cps, and other parts. Finally took it to Ford and they said his computer was bad.........replaced it and Varoom it started right up. Your computer may be toast..............hopefully not though. Also check all of your fuses and wiring. If it sat for 4 months a mouse could have chewed through a wire somwhere. Good luck.
