I must admit, I haven't done a search on this topic yet.:type:

But, I don't think my fan is working on my SHO. I don't hear it come on during my EEC testing as I should, just like the fuel pump relay box and the fuel pump. Plus, I noticed the other day that my temp guage went all the way up to the H. :oogle: :oogle:

All of my fuses checked out fine! I need to check the connecting wires, but if anyone have any ideas as to where to start, let me know! It's helping that it's still cold here in Chicago! But, I need to get this resolved asap!

Thanks!

Anything wires and connector related that I can check for before installing a new fan? What should one do for a replacement, by the way? Price? WTB? Easy r&r? Thanks!

Does your fan turn on when you turn on your AC?

I know that www.rockauto.com has the fan assembly available for the ATX...

I'll try that, and I'll try and see if I can goose the fan to come on thru the CCRM box. Although, thru play I'll find out which prongs control the fan, does anyone know exactly which ones do?

I would go under there and make sure they spin when you poke them with your hand, if they dont or they make an obnoxious clicky noise its time for a new fan motor, if you want to test them grab a battery and some 10 Gauge wire and hook the terminals to the +/COM for the fan.

If they look ok check the 50A fuse with a 12V lamp tester, if thats OK then I would check the pins on the CCRM (relay box under the Emissions Cover). I think PIN 3&4 for ATX and 1&2 for MTX, they should have 12V when the KOEO test runs to test the fans. If thats checking out ok then there is a short or open in the harness somewhere and you'll have to poke around for it.
