Hey Everyone,
Took someone's advice to try the VTM NiteShades instead of tail light covers since they are now discontinued.:thankyou: They turned out great!
I scuffed the tail lights (removed) with like 800grit wet & then cleaned up the lenses. I sprayed 2 coats of the tint (first coat was light, second a bit heavier), then sprayed 2 coats of clearcoat.
When I first put them back on I was afraid they would be too dark because they do look dark (see pic w/o flash) but as you can see from the pics they really do work well & the light shines through almost like you can't even tell they're tinted once they're lit up.
Hope this helps someone make your decision! I ordered the paint from Summit Racing Equipment for $12.95 per can. You can also get it @ O'Reilly Auto Parts but I wanted to order some other VTM products (Engine, brake caliper paint, etc) so I ordered from Summit.:woo-hoo:

Yes, that is my car, but they were not my tail lights. A buddy (who is also a member) and I swapped them on right before we drove to the 07 Convention. I noticed once we got there that they did not really match.
