Hey, just signed up to this site. Don't have a SHO, but I'm seriously looking to pick up a used one for my next vehicle. Preferably a 2013+. I'm very interested in adding performance mods as well. I've read through a lot of posts & other websites to gather info, but still have a few questions. I live very close to Livernois Motor Sports, & it seems like everyone is using their stuff. I would be looking at getting a CAI, 160 Therm, a 3 bar MAP & a tune of course. Any good estimates on what kind of power that would get me? & how about 0-60 & 1/4mile.
I saw a DiabloSport inTune tuner that said it added 70HP & 70TQ. That sounds great to me, but I haven't seen anyone mention using it?!?
Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!!

Unleashed tuning is another option as well, fantastic service. Most tuned are high 12 to low 13 seconds with 0-60 in about 4.5 ish seconds

Wow, that is pretty quick for such a big heavy car. I'll have to check out Unleashed. Thanks for the info!

Livernois, or Unleashed. Stay away from Diablo, couple months ago, racer with 11-14 mustang GT had a Diable tuner, and his car ran like crap. I have Livernois tune in my '12. Runs 12.80's. I see you from Michigan, Livernois is from Michigan, stop by check out there shop and talk with the guys.

I went the Livernois route, minus the 3 bar (so far)....I don't know about exact numbers, but I can say it made a tremendous difference on mine. If you live near them, I would definitely support the local economy. The roar of the engine when you get on it brings a smile to the face every time.

What all are you looking to get done, Lamarr? There's some stuff that's very DIY-suitable: tune, CAI, TStat. The rest, you need to at least be very comfortable with jackstands or have access to a lift to DIY: downpipes, catback, springs, turbos.

If you have a garage you really trust, they should be able to install new downpipes. Cost me $320 for downpipe install and oil cooler retro fit on my '12, and I didn't have to get dirty.
