I haven't seen this anywhere before. Has anyone else experienced this?

I hit the voice button on the wheel, then say phone. SYNC responds with phone, shows the phone screen for a split second, then goes to the USB screen and says USB, and waits for a USB command. I can not get the system to go into phone mode using a voice command. Incoming calls work correctly, and outgoing calls funtion once I dial them from the phone or manually change to the phone screen and dial from that screen.

I am seeing this issue with all three phones I have paired to my SHO, two iPhone 4's, and a Blackberry 9700.

Any ideas?

I am going to try a hard reset tonight by pulling the fuse when I get home.

Anyone know the fuse # off the top of their head?

I haven't had the problem, but just looked in the owner's manual and the fuse you want is #14 in the passenger compartment fuse panel. When looking at the fuse panel it is the 3rd fuse from the bottom in the first row of fuses on the left hand side of the panel. It is a 10 Amp fuse and according to the manual it protects the Navigation Display, Memory Seat, SYNC Center Information display, GPS, and Driver's Seat. I looked over all other fuses and this is the only one that mentions the SYNC system. Hope this helps, good luck.

You really need to post this over at either Syncmyride.com or Fordsyncforum.com. You'd probably get a better answer there.

couldn't get to the fuse to pull it, since the alarm module is strapped to the top of the fuse box (brilliant idea by the installer ), so I just pulled the negative cable for 120 seconds .. seems to have fixed my issue.
