SHODWN
Mother Threasa
Mike, Darell, Bob and others that have been looking for me..
Well I didn't fall off the face of the planet, lol...
After Tonys BBQ I planned on slowing down a bit,for a few months. The last two years with hosting the convention, all the trips out to Dearborn, other conventions and car shows, interviews ect ect Im just kind of whipped and had to slow down a bit with my online activity here and on the other 30 forums im on for various Ford products.
Instead, since August. Ive had a death, a family members cancer came back, my son has needed a bit of Dad time, and being the step dad to 4 more.. Also, Ive picked up a few projects of my own that are not SHO related. a Lightning and a Powerstroke (sick of Ford corporate busting my ass for driving a chevy. LOL). Plus Ive had a few customers in the VA and NC area ask me to do some project work for them.. They are big projects and hopefully they will be done this year during the season. And my Normal day to day gen 1-2-3 SHO work which is my bread and butter.
I also signed up last year with a guy for plowing this year, figuring the normal 4 storms a month, 3 that I might be here for would be no big deal.. HA HA well this year its about every other 2-4 days we get HAMMERED with snow. In Jan alone I have 65hrs plowing for him and another 25 plowing my three properties. (all hrs not 9-5 so you lose days) Its insane! every time I set up to get back into the shop for a few days on a big job we get another foot of snow. The SHO work I have now is backed up 1 month minimum, and any work on the ECOSHO is on hold seeing that its being blocked in my garage by about 4-5 feet of snow. it is not coming out to go into the shop for a few months.
2 of my new upcoming suppliers have gone under forcing me to find other people to do some things in my "free time", even my local part store is going under in another week.. I have about 10 SHO transport Jobs waiting to be delivered or picked up as soon as I can get out of here for a few days..
And Last, after about 2 years of feeling weak, cant remember anything, and just lost in general I went to have some blood work done and found out that I had toxic levels of certain chemicals in my blood causing this.. 2 of them are from food and drink and one is from inhaling 10 years of a chemical that ive been cleaning intakes with.. I should be good by the spring..
So anyway, thanks again for emailing and calling me. Im still alive and almost well, just waiting out this winter.. I can always be contacted at [email protected], 508-963-5899, Facebook- Kirk Doucette and I just started Facebook Northeast SHO.
Another sure fire method is the ECOSHO Mailing list at http://groups.google.com/group/ecosho?lnk=srg
