Near Vancouver Washington

I am near Vancouver Wa. I'm building a sand rail. The motor is out of a 1990 3.0 Tauras SHO and is hooked to a manual Bug swing axle (I know the trans will not last, but it's a start). Looking for information on what PCM to get as I don't have a VIN#, also looking for information on how to wire the motor. Any info is appreciated.

any 3.o sho 89-95 pcm will work. The automatic 3.2 models are different with transmission functions. you looking for new or used? Usually we just use the model identifiers like LOS or X2J for 3.0

Just keep an eye out for California emissions PCMs. They used a different one for cars sold in CA with extra emission gasses recirculating to the intake manifold. The shosource link above has the models for the cali ones listed on their page also
