yes the track pack. 20" wheels

the driveway has a little slope to it. that may make it look lower. I will get more pics when I drive it this weekend.

he didn't order it, the dealership did for themselves.

dad has been car shopping since he bought the Denali last year. he was gonna get a fusion, Audi, caddy, or a few others he was looking at. I then said "wait, there is a new SHO coming out", If it wasn't AWD he wouldn't have got it. plus he really wanted to get something American made.

Dad has had a repore with one of the salesmen for a few months now. He drives by the dealership twice a day. Monday that guy told him it was coming off the truck, and that there were two people waiting to drive it. he told Guy " no one drives it till I do" he got there 15 mins later.

the salesman tried to put a 4 grand premium on it. Dad laughed and walked out. The sales man chased him down in the parking lot. Dad then got a 1000$ rebate on it.

He likes the grill They said it is called the "razorback".

Thank you for all the compliments. I will post more pics after I get to test her out on Saturday. Prolly a wash too!

I still can't believe he did it! He didn't tell me till the day he bought it.

two weeks ago I said maybe you should wait till 2011 so we can see if the tranny will last. (I have killed two Gen 1's, just an fyi)

Ha, I should've noticed that, since in the pics above it has the Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on it. Nice x2. I'm actually surprised a dealer ordered one with a perf pak because everyone I've seen so far is a 402A with all of the gadgets.

When you get more pics could you grab one of the actual tire tread design too because from the pic above it looks like the Eagle F1 Supercar tires, not the F1 GS-D3's that I thought the perf pak comes with (because I've seen SHO prototypes with Eagle F1 GS-D3's on them, which look damn sexy IMO). I had the GS-D3's on my SHO for awhile and they were by far the best performance tire I've ever bought and the best looking too, but they were also the most expensive and highest wearing, or maybe that was just my driving style with so much grip available:evilgrin:. I just found a perfect pic for comparing the two also. Supercar on the left, GS-D3's on the right:

I drove it last Saturday, WOW!

It loves the twisties, and will still snap your next when you floor it at 70 mph. The paddle shifts seemed slow and a little controlled but it was our first time.

Sorry if the pics are crappy it was really overcast. I will post more after we get some sun on a weekend.

The mpg's are my dad's.

The cooled seats are really sweet.

It's funny that you mentioned tires, Dad already wants to change them. I will get some tread pics on Sunday, and probably take her to another nice spot after a wash.

12.0 average MPG?????.....and i thought the rated 18 was low

think that just sealed the deal for me....with that ****** of mileage ill just stick with getting a good ol V8.....plan to get it not long after AIT, cant say what yet though

may just b me but that seems EXTREMELY low for a V6....let alone a supposed ecofriendly V6

I drove the 2010 without the trac pack but everyone that has says the F1 tires are very noisy at speed and harsh riding, which is why he is looking to get rid of them already... why would Ford choose those Good Years when there are so many quieter, better riding, better handling performance tires on the market at a similar or lower price ?

Because OEM's, like Ford, have contracts with tire companies and they probably get them at a cheaper price because they already use them on the GT500. There's a lot of politics that goes on in the OEM/Supplier world too.

All depends on how he drove it. Looks like he's breaking that pig in correctly to me!

Nice car, tell your dad congrats and good luck with it.

That is what I am thinking. I was getting 14 in my car and now I am consistently seeing 26 in the city and 31 on the highway.

Warm it up, really drive it, and then let it cool down.

Also, the car is amazingly beautiful. Nicely done.
