I had a question about this: why would my car shake badly at speeds above 60 mph? What could this be? Also, it's very hard to turn the steering wheel to the right and left unless you apply gas.
The shake could be bad wear on a tire, to where it has a buldge on on spot or wire showin, alot easier to notice once you remove the tire from the car.
Could have also lost the weights that a tire place uses to balance the rim.
As for turning the steering wheel, check power steering fluid and check if you lost a belt.
Commercial balancers only calibrate to 55 mph....Usually...that is enough forthe "full spectrum" of speed...As far as your hard turning...Check your MM's and Sub-Frame bolts....
Inproperly balanced tires.... Front end aligned? Wheel bearings good?
Definatly in need of power steering fluid.... Check the cooler on the drivers side infront of the engine, look from below the car. Mine when I bought it (and until I fix it) lookeds terrible and leaks like a mother. I guess this happens a lot :/
