Well, my MTX is on it's last legs and needs a rebuild; I want to install a quaife at this time as well, but after doing a search it seems from several posts that all the parts are no longer available for the MTX. If anyone out there knows of a source, please advise.
I just talked with Bob McCune at Ford Dearborn HQ; he's Manager of the Research and Engineering group and is a good customer of mine; he let me sit in the GT (not too comfy if you're 6'6" though) when the first models were being developed out there.. Bob is looking into the situation as I mentioned that many other owners of MTX SHO's really need these parts, or a suitable replacement transaxle that can handle more power. Timken is also a good customer of mine, and perhaps the bearings can be cross referenced...we'll see what transpires..Keep you guys updated after I hear back....
