After alot of thought I decided Im gonna do an MTX swap into my 93 3.2.
A buddy of mine is gonna help me do it in his garage. Hes never messed with a sho before but hes done a conversion on a mustang, and hes pretty good with a wrench so I think we can get it done successfully. Im gonna buy a 3.0 with 120,000 miles and a blown head gasket for 650, and swap the tranny out of that. Can someone tell me what else Im gonna have to swap besides the obvious(linkages, pedal, things like that) am I gonna need the y-pipe, motor mounts, or other things like that out of the 3.0?

Honestly from what I have heard, if you have a 93, you may want to pull wiring from another 93. I could be mistaken, but this is what I have heard. Check out this thread here. A buddy of mine here in Fort Wayne (Eric Vervalin), got a rust free 93 from Cali, and to swap all of his 92 stuff into, the 92 was rusting away.

It was quite the ordeal.... PM him ask him all about it.

Also, using the search will give you a wealth of information to pull off that swap. Have fun  ;)

If you don't make custom mounts you will need the MTX mounts and maybe the MTX subframe. Also the 3.0 accessiories.

That link is gonna help me out tremendously...thanks alot. And by the way, that red 93 is a sweet looking car...One thing that would make it look really mean though, is if you colored the letters on the tires white with a paint pen.
