OK, we got the fuel lines fixed, used a repair kit. That problem solved. So finally we got the thing together and ut took a bit to prime the fuel lines, but finally fired. Ran real rough. even after a while. I think that I have faulty plug wires. I used the ones that came with the 3.2 (original motorcraft) but after taking them off and testing them I found that 2 of them had a real low continuity reading (barely registering) so I will be changing them with the ones off of my 3.0 (another brand, not motorcraft) and see if they will work better. At least I know that they work because I took them off of my old motor. i also tested them with my multimeter and they all checked ok. Will these 3.0 wires work on the 3.2? I think that they should fit. I will wait fo a month or 2 to buy new ones because the bank account needs a bit of healing.
Now to the second problem, There is oil ******* out the side of the engine somewhere on the accessory side just above the oil pan seal somewhere near the oil pump. Anyone know what it could be? it is on the front side of the engine just down from the piece that needed to be sheared off with a die grinder. We laced it with some of the black stuff to see if this will solve the leak. If not, I may be taking this PITA apart (all of the accessories side) and see where it is coming from. It is so hard to tell because of all the crap in the way.
I know that it is hard to diagnose like this, but I could use any help or suggestions at this point. Right now I am ready to take it for a long drive off a short pier, however right now even that is not possible. I am sorry for the long post, but my frustration level is through the roof. I hope that it is worth it.
