misfire need help please

Hi everyone,

I have a 93 ATX that has been giving me alot of trouble. Here's exactly what happened. I had a coolant leak spraying from one of the hoses right where it goes into the throttle body. Sprayed all over the coil pack and such. Engine was running hot because I was out of coolant. Took it to the shop had the throttle body cooling bypassed and when I went to pick up the car it now has a bad misfire and even backfires.

I ran the codes and got 136, 332 and the cylinder balance test was showing trouble with cylinder 6. I used an inline spark checker on all cylinders and was getting spark to all of them. The plug wires were all routed in the correct firing order too.

I stoppd there and don't know what to do from this point. Coil pack? DIS? I'm stumped - please help.

Oh yeah - it's bad at idle and part throttle. WOT seems to be ok.

I dont know why nobody ever replies to my cries for help. I'm posting this as a follow up though. The misfire on cylinder 6 was caused by a badly fouled spark plug. It was completely covered in black soot - running rich. Probably because of a bad o2 sensor that is telling the computer that the car is running lean. Therefore dumping excess amounts of fuel into the car. Changed plug and all is well for now - will be replacing 02 sensor when funds are available.
