Milan is fine. Everybody's shit malfunctions a times. I basically quit going there 15 years ago because it's a LONG drive for me from Lake Orion, and I hated getting only 3-5 runs in all night.

We started going to Lapeer Dragway. lower rent than Milan, but a comparable track surface, and we could get an easy 20-30 runs in on a Saturday test-n-tune for $25, and you could get 50 runs in if you just kept going out.

Friends have also done Ubly Dragway up in the Thmb, which they say is quite nice, but I've never been there. Lapeer Dragway is 25 miles from me, and Ubly is about 85 miles away. Milan is about 78 miles, but I could get to Ubly more easily than Milan.

Depending on where you live, there is also Norwalk in Ohio, not that far from Toledo.

More than a few options, depending on where you live, and how far you want to drive.
