WTF FOMOCO!!???
So this is a stock 2016 Ford Falcon (Fusion, in imperial measurements) with a super charged 5.0 RWD and manual trans. Why on earth would we not get something so cool? Kind of a smack in the face if you ask me. I’ve been looking at these for a couple weeks. I’m starting to wonder what right hand drive would be like here. I mean, if a mailman can do it...

We do, it is called a Mustang. Forget about a Supercharged 5.0. I would **** for a Barra.

But, I’d rather have the 5.0 in a Fusion. Especially here. Pull next to some unsuspecting shlub. Oh what is that the 1.7. Hahaha, jokes on you. Smokey burnout, dust, rear view.

I am guessing that US emissions requirements are why we are getting V6/V4 turbos with automatics. Ford needs to maintain a specific average MPG in the US to meet EPA requirements. Australia on the other hand only has 25M people, on a continent that is not much smaller than the US. In addition, manual transmissions just don't sell much in the US so the R&D and production costs to offer both just don't make sense.
