Guys, c'mon... Let it go. I have been having some private conversations with some forum members both on here via *** and on 3rd party chat programs. They have shown me several instances where some NebSHO members have in fact gone to other people's threads and started ******* it.

Every single person that I have talked to and asked them about NebSHO has not hesitated about letting me know how disappointed and angered they are about how NebSHO functions as a whole.

As a long time poster, contributor and member of SHOForum and the surrounding community, I am truly ashamed to be a member of the SHO club that is looked down upon.

Even though we are all close friends and have shared a lot since NebSHO's creation, lets keep our posts on here civil and adult. We have AIM, Yahoo, and MSN to do the rest on.

Bottom line, Don't let NebSHO be the 3rd world of the forums. And don't let us bring this forum down in a blazing ball of fire. We are better than that. Lets show it?

I thought a section like the Nebraska SHO Club or any dedicated section of the board was more of a 'group effort'. You can most certainly ask a technical question there, but it is geared towards people who know each other. Let them have their fun, IMHO.

I do agree that somtimes we, as a hole (NE section) are a little too off topic, but I just don't reply... It's not really a big deal to me.

I would like to point out that any registered member of the forum can see and (obviously) post in this section. I would also give a friendly warning that attempting to start a revolution here will most likely result in abject failure, and permabans. This isn't a democracy, and y'all wouldn't be the first revolutionaries here lol.

I guess my only remaining question for all of you is why must you treat our forum like a Gen chat? This is the forum for NEBSHO members to use, not for everyone to come tell us how we should behave. I personally am tired of the close mindedness of most people on this forum and will probably only continue to post in this section, but If bizzy or a mod has a problem with us then I'm always open for PM's. Other than that? If you don't have anything nice to say about us, then please stay out of OUR section.

honestly. you guys should remember that its not just you who look in your forums. if there a cat from Nebraska that finds the forum on his own. you want the childsplay to be hist first impression of his peers?

granted a little play here and there is fine, no one was ever hurt from a little "joshin" but remember first and formost. you guys represent NebSHO to the rest of the SHO community. both new and old.

you guys are really taking things more personal than necessary.
if you think of it like a SHIP. (shoforum anyway) and you were the captin. would you want anyone visiting your ship and seeing some of your crew members goofing off? what kind of signal does that sent to future sponsors or members?

look at it from beths point of view. this is her house. reguardless of what bedroom your in. your still under her roof. respect that, respect her. and the house will respect you.

You don't get it. It is not YOUR section. It is BETH's. You want peolpe to respect your wishes about coming into this section, and yet you do not want to respect the decisions Beth has made about it? You make no sense man.
