heh i actually made it to OC. On the way back though i had a little adventure. Ocean City flooded up like crazy on the way back. So i was following my friend in his sporttrak back, and of course he was plowing right through the water. Me on the other hand found out that SHO's don't like floods. The car started sputtering like crazy. It felt like it had about 3 horse power. After a while it stopped and drove normal for a while. Then the rain picked up bad again and it did it again for like another half an hour. So all in all i was just wondering if this is normal that something just mave have gotten water in it and was getting wet and drying, or if this may have something to do with the low coolant sensor that you all were telling me might be broken? I could also hear a very low tone in my revs when it was acting up like that if it helps any.... when it drove normal again the low tone went away. thanks...

dude.......if this was normal, then why would people drive their cars in the rain? of course this isn't normal. i'm not trying to be an ass by the way. I have actually heard of a couple SHO's doing this recently. I haven't stayed with the topic long enough to find out the solution. sorry man.

do you have some type of CAI? Some of those are pretty good at sucking more water than air in the right conditions.

nah i don't have a cold air... but with the conditions i was driving in though i don't think it would matter. it was flooded... i meen every square inch. It was like driving through a huge 20 mile puddle in rubber necking traffic. My car seems to be acting fine today. It was only in the rain so i don't think that there is any water in my plug wells because i have seen what happens when you power wash the SHO's engine... It was feeling like there was water somewhere but then after a while i think it dried up or something like that. Today it drove fine. And if there was water down in the plugs wouldnt i still feel that? i don't know i think some water just got up in the intake or on some electronics. I knew something was going to happen because i was literally drowning my car like halfway up the tires at some points. But i knew it was only going to get worse so i was just trying to make it off the narrow strip and onto non-flooded streets. i don't know i'm not too worried about it unless you all think i should be then i'll get it checked... thanks for the input again.
