Would there be an easy way of wiring the outer turn signal brites that go on and stay on when turning to stay on all the time with my parking lights? I was thinking of just running a power jumper from the the front parking lights to the outer and getting rid of the switch wire to the outer light so it wouldn't blink either by using the above power jumper.

Would this be a good method of going for this "look", or is there an easier or more "correct" way of doing this right and not hacking up my wiring?

As it is, the "brites" do not blink, they only illuminate when you engage the blinker.

I plan on doing this mod shortly as well, and I do not know of a "proper" way to do this. Obviously, we need to wire the brites to the parking or head lights; but you do not want to overload the fuse or the wires. So, I figured if I upgraded my headlights to a lower wattage bulb (Silverstar's for example) then the load on my wire will be much less than it normally would be... so I'm going to wire my brites to my headlight wires. I do not know the current draw of any of the lights, as my SHO has been in storage for about 4 months, but I'm thinking this should work.

All wires currently going to my brites I'll chop and insulate, and rewire the brites to my headlights... should work no problem provided that at least your headlights or your brites are a lower wattage (less current) bulb to prevent the wires from overheating. How you specifically wire them doesn't matter as long as your not overloading anything.

I know both "brites" or cornering lights as they are properly called come off of the Multi Function switch. I have replaced my amber side markers on my '97 with clear ones and put in an 18w bulb. Then wired them to two unused terminals on the MFS. Works just like the GEN 1 & 2's.

If I were to want to have them on all the time the headlights were on I would buy a cheap relay and wire it up. Use the parking lamp hot wire to trigger the relay. No extra load any where and easy to do.

Why would you want them on all of the time?

It seems to me that it would draw your attention more to the sides of the road instead of on the road ahead, where your attenton should be. Sounds like an un-needed distraction if you ask me.

Well I recently installed a 6000K Hella HID kit with new headlights and HID shields on the bulbs so now if I were to have the corner light on all the time I wouldnt even notice :) .

When I do this I will change the bulbs to orange so i'll have all orange parking lights and HID headlights with Sylvania HID foglights.

SHOZ123 is there a specific relay I would need? Do I need the relay or would just running a wire to it that is only hot when the parking lamps are on be enough? I don't know much about wiring so I don't want hack anything up by wiring them incorrectly.

Do you have any pics of the HIDs man?

Here are some quick pics of my crappy paint and the HID's:
1st pic is the "warm-up" of the HID's when I first turn them on

I wonder if I should aim the headlight assemly a little higher because right now the beam looks kind of low.

And the 18's will be going on soon with 13" PBR's to get rid of those things upfront now.

Dont bother me at all because I am trashing them and installing HID Sylvania HID's soon with new assembly and all. It got smashed because I went up a drive way a bit too fast which is dangerous when your subframe is only a few inches from the ground, thats what low SS lowering springs will do to ya.

I paid $230 shipped through a buddy of mine I believe true Hella kits run around $400-$600.

About aiming them up higher I don't know if I should just maybe a little more because right now my light aka glare is right below 80% of other cars side mirrors if I got just a bit higher I will definitly be hated on the road lol.

why dont you put in a 194 socket with a amber light wire it up to the corner lights, i did that with my shos looks sick at night. that way you have the effect that you are looking for and keep the bright lights as is and come on when needed.
