Came to realize the other night that my upper led 3rd brake light does not light when I step on the brakes. I noticed it when a buddy was filming me leaving a car show about a month back when he sent me the video of me leaving. Since the only way to get to it would be to remove the entire headliner (that would be a pain in the ass much less time consuming) So a few questions;
1. Do they sell replacements?
2. Is it easy to get to in that general area above the rear windshield??
3. Could it be as simple as a loose
connection?
My car is a 2015. It has the sunroof so that'd be another obstacle in my way as well as reading lamps, the 3 oh shit handles, and front reading lamps & storage cubby assembly plus all wiring for lights and switches and not to mention trim removal & the SRS side curtain airbags. How does this happen as it's LED? granted these aren't immune to failures but that extra warning to unassuming distracted drivers behind me would prevent an unnecessary accident and totalling my car. Thanks!
