This was posted in dicussion forum where it shouldnt be, so I moved it to here.

:help:Does anyone have problems with their brakes squeeling when the veh's hot? I think the rotors need to get turned, eventhough they dont look that bad, i.e. no blue heat spots on the rotors, the pads seem good..And also the steering seems to "pop" when making turns at low speed. Also the AC doesnt seem to work all the time, the clutch will engage on and off as it feels like..lol I need help!!:help:

Sounds like you need a half shaft for the clunking @ low speeds turning the wheel.

Freon is in need of servicing.

If your brake pedal feels wobbly then you need new rotors

Thanks. I think I do need a half shaft since the left suspension is covered in grease...Where can I get a set for decent prices?

Also, there are plenty freon, as when the clutch actually engages, it would blow cold air, but like I said, the clutch engages and disengages whenever it feels like.

About the brakes squealing, I noticed this when I drive the vehicle cold: as the car warms up and I get to a stop light, when I ease down on the brakes, it would have this "drop" affect of maybe half an inch, and the ABS light would come on. The braking feels the same, except the squealing is more frequent and noticable from then. The ABS light only goes off when the vehicle cools down. A mechanic hooked up an ABS scanner to it and told me the right front and right rear speed sensors are bad...But how would this affect my braking???

The AC sounds like the shim needs removed from the clutch, assuming the freon pressure is sufficient.

The brakes squealing is either the pads or lack of the backing shim.

Jack the car up and put on jack stands at the body jack points *not the subframe).

Take wheel off and fender liner. Lower subframe a couple inches on the passenger side.

Take belt off.

Use an impact wrench to take off the pulley nut. Remove pulley. Remove shim.

Reassemble.

if i lack the pneumatic tools and the knowledge of lowering the subframe, can i access the pulley from the wheelwell?

You don't need an impact wrench. But it makes getting the nut loose so much easier. Otherwise you have to figure out a way to keep the pulley from spinning.

If you can get to the pulley without lowering the subframe then you don't have too. It just makes it a lot easier and is no big deal.
