Lopy Idle

When im stoped, in neutral, the car will idle 1000rpm no problems but after about 20 seconds it drops to 600-800 and staggers in that range and i smell it running rich. Is this normal?

You may want to check out the "how do I" section on the main page. Try a idle reset, you can also try checking to see if you have any error codes. (link in sig for that) Does the idle change if you turn off the AC or is it running at all? Try selecting off or vent on the climate control when this is happening.

My ac doesnt work so i dont think its that, it happpens either using the climate control or not

Might be the IAB sensor. You can clean it and test it. Just clean it with carb cleaner and you can test it with a 9V battery.

I do have a junkyard one if you need it.
