so today my friend desided to stop by randomly and brought his digi cam with him so i was able to get a couple pictures on my sho so here they are..

this is the bov i think hehe kinda hard to see didnt use a flash.

heres teh down pipe if you can see it. plus a nice screw in the tire =( CNXT0005

almost forgot this one.. again its very dark but this is my 3" exhaust with cut out... if you cant see them ill try to brighten up the pictures a lil and relink them. CNXT0006


in one of teh pictures you can see my temp ghetto fix for my boost leak. it worked good for 40 miles or so before bursting again lol.

What size turbo did you use again? How much boost are you seeing consistantly? Great job fabbing your own kit. :thumb:

its a TDO5H 16g mitsubishi turbo rated at 350+hp im running 8psi for starters till i can get some bigger injectors and a intercooler. and thanks :D

looks like you got alot for a little. you have a few nice pics there.

anyway, i have found that screws in the tires only help traction, atleast in the snow.

How is the turbo mounted such that it doesn't shake around while spinning?

right now till i redo some stuff its just sitting on teh inner fender "shelf" with welded motor mounts it wont move around at all to bad my welders not up to the task of welding them gotta have a friend bring his welder over or something. but when i re do some things im gonna make a mounting bracket for the turbo.

lol i guess thats a good way of looking at it :p its gonna snow any week now over here.

runs grate! only one small stalling problem... if i boost it real fast in 1st then come to a stop right away it trys to die hehe(im sure thats normal for venting the bov on a maf car). but besides that it works perfectly sofar.

Hahaha yeah hey i know its ghetto but it worked for liek 40 miles before bursting again! lol im sure duct tape would of held up better lol :p and yes thats yarn of some type and masking tape lol :p

oh yeah i replaced that busted rubber section with 2.5inch steal pipeing today so its all fixed now.. no more masking tape and yarn bandaid! lol

Good to hear. If you get a chance, find a good WB. Need to keep that car running. Any chance you are going to make it to a dyno soon?

i really dont know. once i get some minor bugs worked out i might take it to one or atleast try too.. i really do want to see how much shes maken' plus postin a dyno sheet would be cool lol :cheers: :thumb:
