Just wanted to say for anyone waiting to pull the trigger on a LMS kit do it! Have had my sho for around 3 weeks now and just got my three bar map sensoe air raid intake in and tune and it's like a whole new car. I'd like to say thanks for the crew at LMS for all the help and hooking up the Ecoboost community up with a top notch performance package!!

That is something that I have been reading on and haven't pulled the trigger due to 101000 miles and not sure if higher miles on the car if it is a good idea. I wonder what people think about higher mile tuned cars. I have had trans flushed and will be ptu and rear diff soon and am running royal purple oil. I will have to see how strong it feels and what the fluid looks like when changing it and maybe see from there. It's a daily driver that gets 100-150 miles a day so not sure about it all. Any opinions would be great. Maybe the tuners out there could she'd a little light on the subject.

As long as the car has been well maintained and is up to date on maintenance, I wouldn't hesitate to tune it. I might be a little hesitant to take it to the track and run it 10 times in a row in 95 degree temps if it were my only daily driver but I would take advantage of the improved performance and transmission behavior on the street.

Is it absolutely necessary to change the t-stat with a tune? I'd rather not open up the cooling system.

Many (including Livernois) strongly recommend the cooler t'stat but I ran a tune for 3 years with the stock thermostat. I went with the cooler one this year because I planned to do more racing during the summer. I don't think Livernois will provide you their hottest tune unless you do the thermostat but since yours is a 2013, I am not sure what versions they have now.

Well, I won't be racing this car. I just open it up occasionally on the interstate. I'd like to be able to run with Camaros, Mustangs, etc. It will be coming up on the 60k mile service soon and I'd like to upgrade it after that so that I don't have to remove everything again.

Am I correctly reading that when you take the car in for service you need to return everything to stock?

You need to return the tune to stock, and if you have a 3 bar MAP upgrade, put the 2 bar MAP back in along with the stock tune. CAI - dealership may/may not care, but most don't. Downpipes - should be ok unless you are in CA or a state with similar regulations. Getting to know your dealership personnel beforehand is a good idea. Always check after getting the car back to make sure the strategy code is the same. The PCM could have been flashed w/o your knowledge, in which case your tune would need to be updated prior to being loaded back in.

Well, my car is out of factory warranty, so I guess I'm just asking if having the 3 bar and tune will cause any issues with them servicing the vehicle.

Not if you have the OEM tune and 2 bar MAP loaded when you take it in for service.

I tuned mine at 108K, I'm a little over 138K now. No issues yet. I don't bang on it every single moment that I am driving and do oil changes every 4-5K miles.

Plugs, t-stat and 3-bar map ordered today.....from RockAuto. I left a message with LMS on their website 2 or 3 days ago about ordering directly from them but never heard back. I hope they are more responsive when I am ready to order a tuner and tune :)

I'd like to order a LMS tune, plugs, CAI and stat. Does it come with an 87, 91 and 93 tune or do you just get one tune?
