Am I defending them? Maybe your unconscious bias is stepping in ******* this one.

I’m simply calling out facts. The price is very reasonable for the parts you get, installation, and dyno tuning.

They have clearly gone though 6 additional revisions since V11 so one would think they have progressed in a positive direction.

And two opinions which is where you are hammering me on..

That I refuse to condemn a vendor for life.

That I think the power produced here isn’t not bad considering your paying $1,800 for fluff parts in the corsa and AIRAID.

I’m not going to justify my position any more to you or anyone else for that matter. I respect each of you on the forum and have watched a lot of development in the past couple years on this platform. Mainly from each of you pushing the platform harder and harder. Good luck in each of your endeavors and I wish you all continued good health.

You are. 6 revisions later...they are back to......V10. Still under powered, still preaching too fat of a tune....things haven't changed.

If we want to talk about a company who forever should be condemned, is Hennessy... If you’re unfamiliar with that, Google is your friend. However, they are more popular than ever and making money hand over fist with an upcharge that makes LMS seem like a Dollar Store.

YOU ROCK!!!! We gotta let them know the truth!
Shoblock

For people just tuning in....this gentleman was one of the V11 owners that literally went round and round with LMS.

He left LMS and went Gearhead and he will be the first to tell you, it was the best thing he did. That was even after LMS tried to fix his tune.

My question is this. Is this supposed to be the fix for V11? Or just a buy a bunch of parts program? If it's a revision why hasn't LMS reached out to people running V11 still and at least offer the revision? Or is the revision no good unless you pony up for new parts? I still run the V11 and would like an honest answer.

And if you remember, I was the first V11 owner to datalog the issue, confirm the low pressure issue, and bring it to light... and publicly posted all the data to back it up.... but wait... I’m the LMS nut hugger...

If you even had a clue as to how many SHO owners I have helped via phone, in person, and online...

I was also the one to call LMS out on how rich they run...

I was also the one that posted publicly data logs on their meth tune, E30 tune, and 93 tunes from my 2010 and 2016 so that people could understand what was going on...

That they weren’t running their new HPFP correct.

That they did in fact tune their meth tunes purely to offset the fueling and provide cooling. That their tunes were not dependent on meth. Even posted a datalog of their meth tune with the meth turned off.

I also publicly posted and brought to light that their ATPs which they told everyone were custom really are just orders with a .5bar gate as opposed to the default 1bar gate they are shipped with... because I called ATP and asked!

And so many other data points that have helped countless SHO owners make informed decisions...

But wait.... I’m the biased LMS nut hugger....

You just proved it. You are too nieve to even understand why. You couldn't even grasp the concept of why I compare my E30 to the LMS tunes. It is really simple. Yet here you are with another defense.

Guess what. I have talked to Dan personally too.

Hahahahaha hahahahaha hahahahaha.....

So I have never spoken to Dan besides on the forums... So what happen? Are you all pissy about it because Dan tickled your prostate and didn’t even give you a reach around?

Oh I completely understand your misguided attempt to compare your E30 tune with an LMS 93 tune. And it’s just that... misguided... but I don’t feel like having to explain all the differences between the two and why E30 on a stock fuel pump is problematic... can you tune AROUND it, sure... is that the right way to do it, nope...

But please, continue on good sir... I want to read more...

Here we go, now you are acting like a child...just like stripSHO. Let me break it down for you.

You literally couldn't pick up on my point about e30. Clearly the point was not comparing e30 to 93. It was saying even e30 on stock HPFP was fine so you dont need one for 93 especially...

Pretty simple. You tracking?

Also you are literally arguing on the side of the idea of LMS. You clearly have no idea of who they actually are in reality. How many owners came out in the threads with problems. How many left LMS because LMS literally want to use those cars as a guinea pig?

If you did, then you wouldn't be blindly defending them.

I’m still waiting for the punch line... the package they are offering here doesn’t include a Firestorm Pump.... hence my comment about going through revisions yes?

So because E30 runs fine, 93 shouldn’t be a problem.. but why mix E30 for minimal improvements? I mean, you do you buddy....

Again, I have been down this road, before you did, so please... keep going?

Re-read the comment because clearly you still don't understand.

If I had 93 available I would run 93 all day. I don't. I run E30 which puts MORE stress on the stock HPFP that LMS deems is safe.

When they had the fuel issues with V11 the only fix they offered was their upgraded pump.

Clearly they saw the data, and changed how they tuned....for V17...which seems to be a bit better then V10. What changed? Bet they leaned out the tune...

Also...there are two owners in this exact post that personally reached out to me about their V11 tunes. I tried to have them work it out with LMS. At the end of the day LMS wanted to use one of their SHO's on the dyno to figure the shifting and fuel pressure problems. However, LMS refused to put in writing that LMS would be responsible if their SHO was damaged caused by their tune while they were working on it.

SBS, I know way more about this then 99% of the people on this forum. There is a reason why I am so vocal.

E30 really isn't safe for stock fueling, I'm actually surprised that more tuners don't recommend upgrades. I know gearhead does recommend it.
Also LMS isn't too far off with the lambda comment.

I still believe they want to make customers happy, which is why they keep revising their tune.

Now if you want to really crank up the heat, let's bring up S. S. I. Which hold a ton of records and more controversy than I've ever seen on any automotive forum. I'd like to know what they think is safe for the stock pump. Hahaha

Couple things, and I will publicly apologize for my comment about Dan tickling your prostate. That was uncalled for and not like me at all.

Yes, E30 puts more stress on your stock fuel pump. This is a fact since ethanol takes 30% more volume to create the same energy output as standard gasoline.

LMS and Gearhead both are in agreement that to properly tune for E30 you need a pump that is more capable than stock. Is Brad willing to tune around that? Absolutely, he did it for me and others. How do you do that? Well... you lean out the mixture since ethanol burns cooler and is much more knock resistant than gasoline. In practicality you can offset that 30% requirement by using less to keep the stress off the fueling components.

What different between V11 and V17? I have no clue. My guess is they either leaned out the mixture a tad to accommodate or they are running less load. They were already maxing out spark at 23degrees so it’s boost that left. Mechanically from my understanding is that these motors are at a much higher risk of having a motor ending detonation if you exceed the mechanical limits of 23degrees...

If someone wants to datalog V17, I will be happy to help.

I am sorry I missed this. It seems V17 is a fix for V11. It looks like the car they tuned has the T460 package on it. My understanding is LMS is saying if you have this package with V17 this is roughly the power numbers you should expect. Is V17 a viable fix? We won't know until we have the data.

If I was LMS I would have personally reached out to all the V11 owners privately and ask them to consider this revision. The problem is V11 got really nasty with some owners and LMS literally ghosted our community for the better part of a year during this and the other debacle the another member.

Funny thing is...they still send him emails about specials.....

I was there for all that.... actually... I was one of if not the leading vocal critic of their response to the V11 issues and the fact they wanted to use a customer car to fix it at the customers expense..

We are talking around each other I think... I tried my damndest to work with LMS behind the scenes to fix the fueling problems... their response was that the SCT platform didn’t properly record so it wasn’t reliable and their mytouch crap wasn’t ready for data logging (which I agree as the resolution is garbage)...

Sigh... again... I think we are both talking around each other..

If we ever run into each other, first round is on me, cause we both are here for the platform... and I can’t imagine we are that far apart on this.

No worries about the prostate comment. I want to keep it civil and factual. We both know the inner working of the fuel system and we both know our tuners. You seem to know all of them.

Yes what you said is correct, yes what I said is correct. What LMS has preached is not correct and we literally have seen more issues from that one revision then any other tune than I can recall ever.

However, if you and I are tuners and we offer a plug and play with no need to datalog, would you agree it better be damn good? That wasn't the case with LMS. Their only fix was add more money because of their tuning philosophy. It was bunked even with their upgraded pump, because other tuners were making more power then LMS with LMS' upgraded pump. Doing it remotely too.

That being said LMS numerous times dropped the ball on customer service and tune corrections especially with V11. Add the couple other issues I have written about...

I honestly believe that warrants digging up ghosts that haunt LMS to educate new owners to our platform. After reading the hype on the internet from their decent SHO marketing, then seeing these issue...they have more of a one sided view.

I have not slandered LMS in anyway shape or form. I have provided facts and previous LMS tune owners have chimed in back my posted time and time again.

Like I said, no worries. I would love to sit and have a couple cold ones. I agree we are both here for the platform, and I know we are not far apart on this at all.

If LMS in my book worked hard and stayed transparent on what was happening this all could have been avoided with V11. They could have sent out the email and got on top of it telling the owners to revert back to V10. They didn't, they proved up V11 even when things were going south.

I lost all respect for them whem they literally ghosted our community. Literally nothing on this website for a better part of year. However they would post over on the Ecoboost forum about all their new platform tunes. Mustang and Ranger tunes right off the top of my head. Myself and other members called them out over there as well...crickets from LMS about the SHO. That is my problem.
