Livernois Tune Redline Issue

I recently got updated tunes from LMS and since applying the new tune I've been having some issues with transmission and the upshift from 1st.

I was just out for lunch and on my way back to the office I got on it and went WOT from a stop. I was in Sport mode but not manual. Instead of shifting up just at redline it went well beyond the redline and almost got up to 7000 rpm before the car cut power and had to sort itself out. I'm worried its not the tune but instead some more issues with the transmission which had a TSB performed on it because I was experiencing a similar issue when stock.

Has anyone else been experiencing this behavior with LMS's most recent tunes?

Just installed my version 6 tune yesterday and drove the car normally, so I can't tell you. If you have version 5, then I had no problems with the transmission shifting at redline in automatic Sport mode.

Strategy code may have changed when having TSB applied, and LMS would have to be notified of new strategy code to send appropriate tune.

Is it possible you accidentally hit one of the paddles. I had this happen in my G8 (bumped the shifter when in sport) and my car went to red line in first at the strip!

I would try it again only not completely at WOT. Whether you are WOT or not in sport mode, the tranny should react the same, if you are close. Maybe WOT to 6K and then ease off in your test.

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? My has done it twice since we installed the LMS tune. And it never did it before the tune. It feels like its missing a shift or something.

After contacting the guys at LMS they sent me an updated tune that shifts 1 and 2 at 6000. This seems to have fixed it.

version 5 and 6

Hello,
Just curious about tune versions 5 and 6. What are the upgrades over version 4.5 and is everyone who has a Livernois tune eligible for the new tunes. thanks Jerry
