Im having one **** of a time finding a replacement for the moonroof relay for my '89.

Is one available?? Ive come up empty handed looking thru parts catalogs in town, and even on rock auto.

My car is stuck in the garage, moonroof half cocked. :swing:

pull the cover,OR some of the earlier motors have an allen screw port (under little plastic insert) to manually operate. If not pull the cover, remove motor & turn the splined shaft to close it, reassemble & wait till spring.

NoSoSlow- Don't be a dick, wtf mate

Send SV&HODan a message, I'll bet my left nut he can pull one for you or find one in that massive cache of parts he has in his garage downstairs (I've seen it. The box for the valve cover bolts was previously a shoe box to give you guys an idea)

So... nobody can answer the question?

Does that mean it isnt available? :munch:

I dont want a used one. I want a new one.

Thanks for the responses BTW. I think Im on the verge of finding a replacement with some internet hunting. Seems a certain Saab uses the same relay. But until I get it in my hands, I will not know for sure.

I also decided to take my moonroof relay apart for inspection. A little bit of lite oil on the pivot, and it is functioning again. Dont know for how long though.
