Hehehe Fred,

That's what I was thinking too. That is the button for the factory installed NOS system.

Didn't you guys know? For the 1992 Production run Ford decided to have their engineers revamp the EEC-IV module to increase the performance over the stock programming. In the glove box they included a switch to flip back and forth between programs for the "conservative" driver. Too bad it was only on that "one" car! Wish mine had that option.

ok, NOW what is the problem? You have people who are trying to help figure this out, and I was half serious about the NOS activation switch guess. You have people with 92's here (Rickie & Eric), who will certainly be going out to check this out. Where does this attitude come from?

Wow a little testy are we? I was just posting the BS flag cause of your friend... I'm thinking that he was either messing with you or the previous owner definitely added something aftermarket. I guess I didn't expect such sensitivity but when you find out what the button is for then let us know. Chill out man.

UHMMMM is all i have to say

Actually it is probally a switch that triggers the monkey to turn the valve on the NOS to release inside the car in which makes you all high and you think the car is faster. damn crazy monkies
smile.gif

Sorry had to make a joke out of it. It could actually be something a previous owner installed like a NOS system (w/o the monkey and the releasing it inside the car part
smile.gif
) but i HIGHLY doubt it would be ford factory installed, if it is then well....
