OK, I will measure mine tomorrow but I need to know where you measured from. So you cut off 1/3rd of a coil from the bottom of the spring and that only lowered the rear 1/2" so if I cut 1/2 of a coil that might be just right? In a post that I read they said that there is no camber adjustment for the rear wheels and that in order to readjust the camber you must buy a camber kit. Does any know where to get this kit? The guy in the post said he got his from Amazon but I searched Amazon web site with out any luck.

Yeah that logic sounds about right but with springs i dont know if thats really the case, my next step will be to cut another inch off the spring and see where that puts the drop and go from there. You can always cut more off but cant add any back you know?

For the alignment i saw a post in regards to this, i think it was a simple nut and bolt that can be installed to push the wheel camber in and out. But I dont think it will be needed unless you drop the car super low like on the HR springs.

ok cool so i suppose its a good thing. if i have time tomorrow ill cut some more off and see what happens. I drove it about 80 miles since the cuts today and it hasnt gotten any lower so i dont think theres any settle stage since these are used springs.

Let me know what results you get, im figuring we need to drop another .8 of an inch for it to be pretty level and look like it should from factory.

Ok cool, i was wondering if the PP springs were stiffer than non PP but i guess this proves me wrong since we cut off the same and have the same results. Maybe its just the valving in the struts that are different.

I think the first couple of inches are at less of and angle than the rest of the spring. To help it seat better or I could be all wrong.

Aeterna, I measured from the "front" fender through the center of the wheel to the floor and have 30.00". I measured the "back" the same way and that was 31.00". Is that how you measured your car? I have a 2015 that has 19,867 miles on it.

Yeah thats how i measured, for some reason i thought my backs were 31 and 1/4 inches but i may be wrong. Thanks for the feedback man. We will cut on them some more and see what we get.

Do you have 20" rims with 245 45 tires?

what i went for was equal fender gap in the front and rear. all that took for me was just over a third of a coil.

Why cut them? H&R is only like $200 on Tire Rack! Cutting them compromises the integrity of the spring - it'll make them weak especially if they get too hot where you cut them and create a bounce / pogo affect on the ride! Don't do it! Just my $0.02 worth.
oy vey, cutting springs with a saw will not created enough heat to compromise the integrity of the spring, stop spreading misinformation.
here, even a spring manufacturer says it's ok
