Hi guys,

I have a small oil leak coming from what I believe to be the oil sending switch/sensor. It has one wire going into a plastic plug into a metal sensor with a nut in the front of the oil pan. I tried tightenening it up, but it seems to be leaking from the center where the plug goes into it. It seems relatively easy to replace. Do they sell the whole sensor or is there a gasket/o-ring that needs to be replaced?

Thanks

You can buy the whole sensor. Cant tell you where to go in the USA to get one though. When you do install a new of make sure you use teflon tape on the threads. (Wraped with the threads) just keep it off the first two threads don't want to get any in the oil.

The oil level sender and gasket are Ford only parts. There has never been an aftermarket source located for them. The gasket can be replaced separately, and in fact does not come with a new sender.

Here are the part numbers:

F2AZ-6C624-A Low Oil Level Sender
E9DZ-6C626-A Low Oil Level Sender Gasket
