is it really as hard as it sounds? since you have to use the sturt housing... Or would it be worth my money to just pay the 30 bucks a strut from shoshop or where to have it doen for me?

IF you can find a place to put the struts in for 30 bucks a strut ... go for it. I did mine myself, (springs, struts, bushings ... ) took me 10 hours.

Well the inital install is not what worries me.. it is the whole reusing the housing thing.. I dunno what that really means being I never did struts before... if it is too much of a PITA then I will get Tokico and have a slighty spfter ride :)

I cheated and ordered my Koni's, I had them installed into housings before I got them.
I am sure someone on this list has done it, I have been told this is not a very hard thing to do.

I think I will do the same thing.. to save some time... would it be okay to get the Intrax springs first then a month or so later get the Koni's?

If you are planning on doing struts and springs .. do them at the same time. Save yourself a bunch of time ...

it's not the time I am worried about.. it's the money :(.. I don't wanna have the new springs get messed up fromt stock struts and vice versa.. if worse comes to worse I will just have to wait till I have the money for both at once

Wait till you have the money to do both at the same time. The labor costs will be much higher (and having an alignment done twice)by doing them seperate.

well I will be doing the install part myself.. I just didn't know about the reusing the casings... but I do understand the point for the alignment.. I didn't think about that.. no point in getting one twice :)
